About Me
I was born and raised in the Bay Area, and am currently a Stanford undergrad pursuing an individually designed Engineering major combining design thinking approached and industrial engineering organization and data-driven methodologies. In addition, I'm planning on a coterminal masters degree in Management Science & Engineering to improve my skills in business and marketing.
I'm minoring in Classics, specifically Ancient History, a forum in which I am honing my written communication skills and intending to complete a thesis that applies modern data analysis methods to data collected from archeological excavations to lead to new insights about Roman economic trends. Thus far much of the work I've done focused on understanding the process and design elements of physical objects and experiences.
My design thinking coursework has helped me develop human-focused approaches to problem solving and hone my verbal communication skills, both for in-person interviews and in-class presentations. This has challenged me to think deeply about the problems we are trying to solve, and identify and execute innovative solutions that directly address client needs and experiences – whether purchasing a new car or riding public transportation.
My technical coursework has provided me opportunities to prototype and create manufacturable products, and I’m excited to learn the next steps in taking products to market. I’ve also learned to use SolidWorks, prototyping and rendering versions of my final projects – including a cast California-coast inspired desktop fountain - to communicate my ideas with my project coach and classmates.
My management science coursework has emphasized the need for cohesion in teams and the challenges and benefits that come with working with a diverse set of talents. I've also used it to complete a solid foundation in statistical analysis and visualizations, and I am very familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, having used Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in the course of my research and schoolwork in the last 8 years.

I come from an artistic and design-focused background, so visual clarity and effect is important to me in all aspects of what I create.
